FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $25 per hour for the design time that goes into the product (this includes if I have to design the packaging as well), the product is then estimated at the end for the gross worth and I take a percentage of the gross worth of the final execution.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm currently enrolled at the Art Institute of Portland pursuing my degree in Graphic Design. I work hand in hand with designers who have been in this line of work since the 80's and have all the experience and know-how which allows them to critique our work to the standards of the field today. They also keep us up to date with current work that they're doing for companies, problems they've faced in their own experiences, and current trends soon to hit, or already making appearances in design today.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always that kid in high-school who everyone asked to design their tattoo's, draw them, draw their since passed animals, etc. Once out of school it became logos and posters for events. Soon, I felt that I had a talent for this and decided to pursue further schooling and a career in graphic design.
