Introduction: Welcome! I would like to tell you a little about myself and the services I provide. My name is Sindea (pronounced like Cindy), and I am a portrait photographer as well as a birth and postpartum doula. I am also a mom to 4 wonderful children. How did I come to my combination of career choices? Read on!
I have loved photography since I was a little girl. Everywhere I went, I saw the beauty and just knew I could create a beautiful photograph out of what I saw. As a young adult, I chose this as my career and have been enjoying it ever since, but I always felt something was missing. I felt like I was supposed to be a photographer but also caring for others in some way.
When I was pregnant with my oldest son (who is now 16), I learned about and hired a doula. I immediately knew I had found what I had been missing! When my son was just over 1 year of age, I became a birth doula and never looked back. Being able to combine my love of creating beautiful portraits with my role as a doula has been a blessing and taught me so much. When my second son was 2 years old, I became a postpartum doula. That is just a little insight into how I got to where I am now.
As a portrait photographer I provide quality and creative lifestyle portraits at the location of your choice. Whether you are looking for pregnancy or maternity portraits, newborn, child, family or high school senior portraits, I am excited to capture that time in your life!
I offer birth photography (stand alone or in addition to doula care), Fresh 48 Sessions (lifestyle newborn photography within the first 48 hours), newborn, child, family, and senior portrait photography. There are details on my site for the different sessions and pricing.

* photograph the birth (if you wish)
* provide lactation support (I am a certified lactation educator)
My birth doula fees are $1500, and I work with a great doula partner, Cheryl Murfin. We offer many packages and options.
As a postpartum doula, I do the following:
