FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are committed to fair pricing that reflects the industry standard. Ask about any applicable discounts and senior savings specials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, we set up a time for a free estimate, have an estimator come out to take a look at your project, and then we provide a no pressure, no obligation job proposal with itemized pricing. This way you can choose what would be of the most value and highest priority to have accomplished. If you need help with emergency tree removal, we accept phone calls 24/7. We will start as quickly as possible to remove the tree from your home or structure, along with securing it from weather intrusion by means of tarping and/or repair. You make an insurance claim, provide us with the claim number, and we take it from there. If the structure needs repair to get it back to original condition, we can take care of physical repairs as well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After working as a ground worker and then a tree climber in his early twenties, owner, Les Edwards decided to strike out and start his own business. It was then, in the mid-1980s, that Lumberjacks Tree Service was established. Since this time, Les has not only gained precision tree-removal expertise, he has obtained many hours of track-hoe operation and stump grinding experience. Les found that adding a track-hoe to his equipment fleet was the ideal addition for Lumberjacks, and his heavy equipment operation talents are the perfect compliment to his tree skills. He has expanded upon his knowledge in both tree service and excavation services year after year. Closely attending to their many needs and projects, Les has also developed an outstanding rapport with customers and families for decades. He takes the time to listen carefully and answer any questions or concerns, while placing heavy importance on giving customers an informed and clear-cut approach to business deals.
