FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Although I have been doing drywall for 20 years, I am new to Thumbtack. Therefore, I am offering discounts to my first 5 customers! My quotes include materials, labor and state sales taxes. While most bigger drywall outfits charge 3 times the cost of the labor to cover overhead, a smaller company like mine gives you the same quality for a much lower price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After going over the basics with the customer, I like to take a drive out to see the work whenever possible. That way we can talk about getting exactly what you would like, and I can get a sense of the materials and tools needed to do the job correctly. After that, we set up a start date that works for you and make all necessary arrangements.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the drywall business since I was in elementary school. All three generations of my family have been working in drywall since the 1950s. I have been fortunate enough to learn from the best! I have also worked for 12 years in education overseas, so I am very culturally flexible and love to learn new things.
