- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The most important things when considering a fishing guide service are: 1. Communication. How soon do you get a response and do they answer all of your questions. The more you know about the trip in advance and the better your questions are answered the more comfortable you will be and the more likely it is that you'll have a good experience. 2. Professionalism. Does the guide have a website? Most fishing guides who have been around for more than a few years will have a website where you can google search terms and find their services. If someone doesn't have a website they may be a fly by night service. Do the guides have Coast Guard Licenses in addition to Washington State Licenses? Guides who are Coast Guard Licensed and Insured are true professionals. The amount of experience and education required to obtain a Coast Guard License ensures you are fishing with a real pro. 3. Do they offer any kind of fish catch guarantee? Sometime the water levels are not conducive to fishing or maybe the fish just are running on a certain river. When you fish with us we will be sure to get you on the fish! We are so confident that you will hook fish you get a 1/2 priced trip next time if you don't. 4. Does the guide fish year round? Once you fish with us once you'll want to make it a regular thing! Fishing can be very addictive, but it's the best kind of sport to be addicted to :) We are available year round and will help you find the fish!
