- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing complicated. I make my living with this and charge a working wage to support my family while making my services available to clients at all ranges. No one ever thinks they paid me too much... people come to me for what I do... not what I charge:)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) and regularly attend conferences, expos, and other industry educational events. I have attended WPPI University twice and regularly make use of training offered by CreativeLive. I also subscribe to several industry trade publications.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was encouraged to pursue photography by quite a few already in the industry after they had viewed my work in capturing photo-journalistic and editorial images at events. Then I pursued training in lighting, posing and other aspects of the photographic arts to have greater versatility and control in my work.
