We hired DunnEvents to serve as the Day of Wedding Coordinator for our daughter’s wedding, and to facilitate and direct the wedding rehearsal. We could not have been happier with our selection! Sara of DunnEvents was professional, insightful, creative, personable, and skilled at her job! She executed the wedding day’s events absolutely seamlessly. She had the ability to keep the entire wedding day moving according to the timeline but also knew when to speed it up or slow it down. And because of her expert help, our family, and most importantly the bride, was able to relax and enjoy the wedding day without stressing over choreographing all of the details that make up this special day. It was perfect! Also, during the wedding planning stages, Sara helped create the wedding day timeline. She offered invaluable insights in regards to timing, maneuvering guests, and wedding day tasks that really improved the flow of the day’s events. Sara and her husband, and of course their adorable baby, were so sweet! It was nice to see them working together to make our day as perfect as theirs had been before they started their lives as a couple themselves. Sara really just wanted me to be happy and she did not try and fight me on anything, she was excited when I came up with my own ideas and seamlessly incorporated them into the wedding. We were so glad to have both her and Josh, who was awesome queuing the music, every step of the way during the wedding. She even managed to keep me calm when the cake showed up late! Thanks again to you both, we could not have done it without you!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! In this industry you have to stay well educated! It is an forever-changing industry with new styles, themes, methods etc. always revolving. I try to take single classes at the community college when I can just to keep up on the newest laws and business practices, and I thoroughly enjoy going to Bridal Shows, reading the latest books and magazines and online newsletters and blogs to keep up with the newest trends!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved events. Weddings, parties, themed parties, corporate shin-digs. When I was growing up I always wanted to host a themed party for birthdays, St. Patties Day, 4th of July, you name it- I was already deep into planning mode. And to this day I STILL enjoy throwing get - together's for friends and family. I enjoy being a host for any occasion, so why not make a career out of what I love doing most?!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in Weddings. Its kind of my "niche"- But I enjoy all aspects of events! Ive even dabbled in seminars, expos, and corporate luncheons.
