Introduction: I am not a human jukebox. My passion for music and people having a good time is a displayed at every performance. Thus I am NOT an iPod Dj. I am an open-format Dj. For example, I will play Johnny Cash to AC/DC to Iggy Azalea to Keith Urban to... All in a smoothly transitioned and energetic mix. I bring over 750,000 songs to each event I do. I love being able to look out in a room and getting someone out on the dance floor. I know that sounds cliche. But I like to do it without asking them what they wanted to hear. I do it just by playing songs and seeing what they are bobbing their head or tapping their feet to. Then next thing you know, I find that song and they are on the floor the rest of the night.

I have done security with DJ Mykey many times and every time people ask me what radio station he plays for and if he is famous. His open format style gets every one to the dance floor. He has some mixes that theme together with topics and they are masterpieces in my mind.

I had heard Mykey Dj at an event and was blown away by the wide variety of the music he played, the fluidity of his mixing and the positive crowd response during and after the event. When working with him he listened to my requests and "demands!" With grace and professionalism. He was accountable and provided top-notch service and I will continue to use him in the future. I've had the pleasure of hiring Mykey for several of my events. He started Djing at my bar. I then hired him for my wedding and then refers him to a friend for a company party. He is professional and plays any kind of music you ask. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

I love his energy and passion for what he does. Watching his enthusiasm lifts me up to want to participate more in the given event. No other DJ has ever come close to the quality of his performance. He has good variety in his music with no mistakes he has never been late and is willing to stay until the crowd is gone, I would travel any distance to here him play.

5 star review for M&T productions! DJ Mykey played my wedding reception and I can say I would not recommend anyone else for such a special day. DJ Mykey was a blessing for me. He provided an easy to follow planning guide that allowed me to stress less about the reception and concentrate more on everything else. Reguardless of being a fantastic personal friend of mine, DJ Mykey showed himself to be accomedating and professional as well was efficient and completely self contained. His music choices were tasteful and spot on. It was an absolute pleasure having him with us. Take my advice, when planning your special day, plan on DJ Mykey!

Audition them!! Ask the Dj if you can come watch them perform. Get letters of recomendation.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Dj'ng is not about JUST playing music. Its the social interaction a good Dj has with his/her crowd. It is being able to be well-rounded, not genre biased. To be able to musically and personally adapt to every crowd and situation.
