Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I work directly with clients to find a training program that focuses on their dog's individual training needs. I offer a variety of training options to fit any training budget. Board & Train dogs board in my home and stay with me throughout my daily routine. I work w/ a smaller number of dog so I am able to give personalized attention to each and every dog I train. I love working with dogs. I enjoy teaching dogs new cues and creative tricks. It's fun and easy to do. But it's extremely rewarding to take a dog who has numerous behavioral problems, a dog that most people would "throw away" and, through some hard work, gentle handling & lots of patience, transform that dog into a happy, well-mannered dog.

April took my service dog Friday in for a week to get her used to being next to my wheelchair and to not pull. After such a short time there was such a change where Friday instantly wants to be at my side when I'm in my chair she responds well to commands and hand signals all due to the hands on love and training April provided her. She is professional and very friendly and if she does not know an answer she will research and find it for you.

April did the obedience training for Mr. B who has become a facility dog in my PTSD counseling practice. The training took place both in her home and in our home over a months time. April obviously has a talent and great knowledge in training dogs. She took extra time with us to make sure that we and Mr. B had good training. She always kept appointments and was very punctual. This was our first experience with a trainer and she was so very helpful in all aspects.

Our male lab Peanut, at around a year old, was very timid, whiney, and wouldn't even jump up into the car. April worked with him for a week, and he came home a much more confident dog and is even jumping up into the car! I was very pleased with his progress, and he has turned out to be a great dog. Thanks April!!

My dog Duke went to training at Rowdy Rover Dog Training for 3 weeks. Duke would not be the Man Doggie that he is now if it we not for the training April gave him. He loved April and was excited everytime I took him out to stay for his training. He made his Daddy proud. I have consided more training in some specific areas. When that happens he will be going back to Rowdy Rover Dog Training with April. If you have a dog that you love that needs training, Rowdy Rover Training with April is the place to go. You'll be happy that you did, and your dog will be happy too, working with someone that loves what she does and shows the love to your pet.

I earned my ABCDT from Animal Behavior College In 2010. I then worked to complete the requirement to qualify to take the CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed) exam through the internationally respected CCPDT (Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers). It is dedicated to the mastery of humane, science-based dog training practices. The CPDT-KA measures a broad range of knowledge and skills in ethology, learning theory, dog training technique, and instruction. Eligibility requirements: ? A minimum of 300 hours’ experience in dog training within the last 3 years. ? Provide a signed attestation statement from a CCPDT certificant or a veterinarian ? Sign and adhere to the CCPDT Code of Ethics CPDT-KAs are then required to stay current in their professioal field by earning CEUs through attending approved seminars and courses. (Its also worth noting that I have a Bachelors degree in Music Education from the University of Idaho. The basic concepts of positive reinforcement are the same whether a person is teaching kids, dogs, dolphins or even chickens.)
