FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Different jobs require different pricing. That's why initial meating is important so previous info can be reviewed to determine what may also be necessary to do in the current tax year. The prices on the quotes are all just estimates. The filing status is just a small piece of the puzzle. So much more is needed to know before an absolute price can be given. Unless all the client has is up to 3 W2s, pays rent and in perfect health, then the base price is pretty much the cost to have the return prepared. But anything else, sole proprietor business starts at $225 and can go up from there. But every client will know the cost of their return before we even begin. There are no surprises. Though our hours state 9-4 Monday thru Thursday, we are there, during tax season, almost non-stop. Outside of those hours, is normally by appointment only. Most of our clients have been with us for years, so they just email their information to us or use the client portal on our webpage and put the info there.
