The condo was pretty dirty. It doesn't look as they did deep cleaning (move in/out) for a long time. Three workers came on time. All of them were very hard workers and fast. Also, they were very nice. The condo looks like almost new and smell nicer. Kitchen was especially dirty and they cleaned everything (including oven, microwave, etc..) very good. I understand from my daughter that the team worked well and hard but there were a couple of key areas left pretty unattended (like the floor under the dog's food dishes) but otherwise pretty good. I was surprised by both the number of people on the assignment and consequently the very high cost for that. I was not made aware that it would take that many people and escalated the expected price. Wish I would have had a ball park estimate closer to what was billed to me because it was truly sticker shock but my fault for not setting a firmer budget. Otherwise all good.Jan 3, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Our pricing is based on hourly rates that run between $45-$55 per hour. A standard Thumbtack service runs between 3-5 man hours, 4-6 man hours and 6-8 man hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Standard practice with our clients is to discuss the scope of the work they need accomplished; the size of the property, number of rooms, bathrooms, etc and the type of cleaning desired (standard house keeping, deep cleaning, post-remodel, etc.). Once we know what the client needs we give them an estimate on the time it should take to clean their home or business. Generally the smaller jobs are bid blindly and we go off of past experience and the specifics of what a client tells us. On larger jobs we do a walk through to determine the time and staff needed to complete the work. Once we have been hired we set the schedule for their service and either invoice them at the end of the project or bill onsite.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?We have done this type of work for a number of years on a smaller scale, primarily in the residential realm. Fairly recently we have expanded into commercial properties, including offices and restaurants.
