I want to clarify that my concern is not about paying a higher price. I understand that costs can change and I’m open to that. What was frustrating was the multiple back-and-forth price changes: the quote went from $500 on Thumbtack, to $700 over the phone, and then to $840 in the official written quote, which also took about 5 days to receive. The repeated changes and delayed communication made it difficult to plan and ultimately felt like a waste of time. Clearer and more consistent pricing upfront would have made this experience much smoother. I believe clearer communication around pricing and timelines would help avoid this kind of confusion for future customers.

**This client never hired us** I typed out a few paragraphs responding to this review. Im glad I slept on it for a few months. Im over it. The price changed because the scope changed. Theres a few other things that are incorrect or misleading about this review. To his credit, There was a 3 day lapse in communication, which were not proud of. But like I said. Im over it. Please stick to reviewing contractors AFTER you work with them. Thats what people want to see.
