FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Transparent, line-item pricing—no surprise upsells. Photo/virtual estimates are free; on-site diagnostics are $125 weekday ($175 after-hours) and credit back if we proceed with a repair or install over $500
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Quick intake (same day). Send a few photos/video of the panel, install area, and any obstacles. We ask a few basics (utility: Seattle City Light/PSE/Tacoma Power, home age, goals, timeline). 2) Fast estimate. We provide a clear, line-item estimate with options (good/better/best). Permits, parts, and any utility coordination are spelled out up front. 3) Scheduling & permits. Pick your slot (or use Instant Book). We pull permits where required and coordinate with the utility for panel upgrades or generator installs. 4) On-site walkthrough. On arrival we confirm scope, verify code/clearances, and review any hidden conditions. If anything changes, we issue a quick change-order for approval before proceeding. 5) Professional installation. Clean, code-compliant work by licensed technicians. We handle EV circuits/chargers, standby generators (Generac/Kohler), panel upgrades, and troubleshooting. 6) Testing & verification. We meter/test every connection, label circuits, set up apps (EVSE/wifi where applicable), and perform transfer tests on generators. Photos are documented for your records. 7) Cleanup & handoff. We leave the space clean, review how everything works, and provide permit/inspection info plus a copy of your warranty. 8) Payment & follow-up. Pay by ACH/card/check. You’ll get a service history/receipt by email. We check back after inspection and offer annual maintenance (e.g., generator service). Warranty & support: 2-year labor warranty on our workmanship; manufacturer warranties honored. We’re available for future adds/changes and emergency calls.
