Introduction: Pallavi Kale Interiors is a boutique interior design company specializing in remodels and furnishings projects. My design philosophy is simple — I believe a home is your sanctuary and should be comfortable and cozy but also carefully curated. My approach to design begins with an ode to the architecture of the house, the personality & needs of my client, infused with my personal aesthetics. I like to work with clean, modern lines, layered with texture and color, with a mix of midcentury classics and vintage pieces. I always try to bring in natural elements to achieve the earthiness and calm that every home should have. My work is influenced by my Indian roots and the various cities that I have worked in and traveled across the globe. I am deeply motivated to support artisans in my projects, finding value and beauty in unique & hand-made things. I believe in quality over quantity, small-batch goods over mass-produced, and transparency with clients overall. My mission is to make your home truly unique that reflects your personality and is tailor-made to your needs. After extensive training in construction and design and with experience of over a decade, I founded Pallavi Kale Interiors in 2019. I live in Seattle with my husband and our little daughter. Nothing but great things to say about Pallavi Kale Interiors. I reached out to Pallavi b/c my townhouse was in need of a refresh (understatement!). My kitchen/living spaces were very dark and I wanted to brighten up the space - especially now that I am working from home. I loved Pallavi's design ideas on what to do with the space(s). She had ideas that I didn't even think of - which is exactly what I wanted. Today, my space is nice and bright and I love being in it. Pallavi is very professional, responsive and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend Pallavi Kale Interiors.

I worked with Pallavi to get my Living/Dining decorated and Powder room remodeled. First impression was that Pallavi was extremely proffessional, thorough and detail oriented. There was always a clear reason why she chose a particular color, or furniture piece, or accessory. When I was confused about the powder design since I couldn't visualize what the final product would look like, Pallavi blew me away by the 3D rendering of her design. If I were to photograph my powder today, it would look exactly like her 3D. I did not know designers could do that. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my decision to work with Pallavi and Pallavi Kale Interiors.

We were looking to get our kitchen and living redone and contacted Pallavi Kale for the job, she responded in moments and was able to accommodate a meeting the next day. We were initially hesitant considering her hourly prices were on the higher side, but her design estimate had considerably fewer hours than the other designers we had consulted. She adjusted to our budget, yet delighting us with the final outcome of our home. Highly recommend Pallavi Kale Interiors!

We worked with Pallavi on our dining room and living room and absolutely love how these rooms turned out! These are tricky spaces to decorate; there are lots of orangey wood tones throughout (window frames, beams, and flooring) and large areas of rustic stonework (large fireplace), all of which are expensive to change and unfortunately give the house a dated, mountain lodge vibe that does not match our style. I’m amazed at how Pallavi was able to work with a difficult canvas and turn it into a serene, comfortable space that matches our aesthetic and fits our needs (cat friendly). Pallavi is professional, creative, and detail oriented. If we have any more interior design needs, she’ll be our go-to!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
STEP 1: DISCOVERY PHASE To begin our design journey, we meet at your place to understand your goals, challenges, needs, wants, and wishes. We discuss the direction of your project, share ideas, and decide how best to move forward. A detailed Scope of Work which includes an estimate of design hours/fees is provided to get started. STEP 2: DESIGN PHASE Next, we take measurements and pictures of the space. We then create a detailed plan of action and develop the design concepts that will inspire the space. After we decide on floor plans, furniture, fabrics, and finishes, we present the finalized design of your project including color palettes, selections and other design features for review & approval. STEP 3: DELIVERY PHASE Finally, this is the most awaited and fun part. Our team works closely with you to carry out the plan we have created together. We install & transform your space into a thoughtfully curated design, finished with art, accessories and all the details.
