Introduction

Hi! My name is Lisa VanderHoek and I love all things that have to do with home interiors. I have been working in the home interiors industry since 2017, after I left my corporate career to pursue my passion. I started with an online home decor shop, and recently have been pursuing Interior Design, Home Staging, Home Renovation, and Home Styling. This was my first time hiring a designer and I was very nervous. My place is very small and I felt that maybe it would be hard to find someone willing to work with me. From the start Lisa made me feel valued as a client. Even though some of my Design ideas were a little unclear. She took the time to understand what I liked and created something that was unique to me. She provided two layout options and gave me several choices for each room. She also took the time to offer me options in different price ranges. This made me feel that she had my best interest at heart. I really enjoyed working with her and have already recommended her to friends.

Lisa, never rushed me in making any kind of final decisions, even tho this was a very small project. She would offer multiple ideas and choices, since I really didn't know what my style was, except I liked colors. Very patience n always there when I had a question. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1 hr on-site consultations are $100.00 For travel outside of 15 miles, I charge a $35.00 travel fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start out with a phone call to learn about the project. From there we typically schedule an on-site consultation where I get more details/photos/questions answered on the project. After that, we make a plan for how I will assist with the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed an Interior Design course and have experience working with realtors in home staging. I have been styling and furnishing homes for 3 years now.
