Introduction: Seattle Karate Academy is located within the F.A.M.E Community Center and operates classes twice per week.
The instructor, Clifton Jackson, is currently a third-degree black belt, and has over 25 years of experience teaching karate to children and families.
Mr. Jackson has taught karate for the Washington Karate Association, Everett Community College, Shoreline Community College, and Edmonds Community College.
Additionally, he has pioneered martial arts programs for Seattle Girl's School, Madrona K-8 and Zion Preparatory Academy (Zion Prep), worked as a fight choreographer for both film and stage plays, and has coached many students to both national and international medals.
Mr. Jackson has a Master's degree in Social and Human Services, with a specialty in bi-cultural education. He is bilingual (Spanish) and a published author.
