Sensei Jackson has been a mentor and coach to my daughter since she started karate instruction at the age of 6. She is now 11 and a black belt. Sensei Jackson blends diligence with patience in the course of instruction. He teaches at all levels of skill and encourages diversity in his dojo. In fact, I have been a student in class at times as well as my daughter, as all ages are welcome. In addition, Sensei Jackson has spent years contributing to his community through his mentoring of at risk kids. I feel that these years of instruction have imbued my daughter with a confidence of carriage and a respect for herself and others. We decided to make a long-term commitment to karate as a discipline and sport for our daughter. It is the one constant sport we have maintained over the years...through soccer, swimming, &c. Over the years we have grown very attached to Sensei Jackson and appreciate the instruction and direction he offers to our daughter.
