If Thumbtack had an option for "survived a Maine Coon and lived to tell the tale," Larry would get 10 stars. My cat Max is a giant Maine Coon with enough fur to knit a sweater... and enough attitude to defend it. He was severely matted, and every attempt to trim or deshed him at home ended the same way: fury swipes, surprise chomp attacks, and us questioning our life choices. Larry, however, apparently speaks fluent angry cat. He wrangled my fluffy little grizzly bear like it was just another Tuesday, got all the mats out, and somehow kept all of his fingers in the process. On top of that, he gave me a few tips for maintaining Max's coat and pointed out that I'd been using the wrong type of deshedding brush all along. Turns out the problem wasn't just Max... it was also me. Max is looking and feeling so much better, and my arms are grateful they no longer have to volunteer as scratching posts. If you have a cat that has chosen violence, call Larry.

Great experience!! It was so much easier than taking all the dogs to a grooming place. Larry was friendly and professional- kept us updated prior to the appointment and during it. He was great with the dogs and they look so good!!! We will absolutely be calling him again!!

Larry was very patient and well prepared to take on my anxious xxl fluffy Newfoundland doggie. My dog needed a lot of attention, care, and patience. He was realistic about the services required, and there was a lot of transparency around pricing and upkeep.
