Fitness Together is conducting Live Virtual 1-1 personal training sessions during the Covid-19 shut down. We have been providing exceptional service to the community of West Seattle for over 13 years.

I've been working out with various trainers at the West Seattle Fitness Together for the last eight years. All of them are phenomenal at helping me get great workouts despite my bad knees and bad lower back. They also always keep it fun and interesting, which is very hard because of my restricted activities. I've tried many trainers in West Seattle and none come close to the caliber you find at Fitness Together. Duncan and his super tough tabata Thursday workouts. Melissa and her supersetting workouts to fun 80s dance music. Dane and her itty bitty movements that seem easy until the burn hits, and I get my goal of muscle fatigue without joint pain. You've just got to try this group of trainers to realize you can get a fabulous, fun workouts (in your own private studio btw) as they help you reach all your goals. They truly are different.

Having been through 2 rounds of chemo and 1 BMT I had been in bed a LOT. I was physically weak and movement was a challenge. I knew I had to get moving but have never really been a workout person this was all new to me. I wanted a place where I could learn about how my body moved, and in some cases, didn't move and mostly how to work with what I had and keep me moving as I had lost so much being bed ridden for almost a year. I found all this at Fitness Together in W Seattle.
They took me from not knowing much to learning so much about my body and how it could and would move if I had the patience and stick-to-itness to keep going. They are all awesome trainers.
As an ARNP I have been around a lot of people in health care and these people were all the most professional, kind and I believe, were very invested in all their clients. Kudos and hats off to Bonnie, Duncan and all the other staff of Fitness Together.

I have been going to Fitness Together for about a year. In the beginning, I just needed to move...I committed to twice a week for 6 months - and it has changed my life.
The trainers are wonderful, and sometimes I have the same trainer, sometimes I don't, which is a nice change up in routine for my body. The trainers do not force me to do anything that I'm uncomfortable with, yet make me do things that I would not normally do on my own. In the beginning, they met me where my body and comfort levels were at, and work from there. At this gym, some people are old, some people are fit, some people are overweight, some are just trying to lose that extra 5 lbs. I love the diversity - it's not like other gyms I have been to where I feel self conscious because everyone is already in shape and showing off their physique.
This gym is a home-away-from-home. It works well for me because it makes me workout when I have a scheduled meeting with a trainer. The accountability piece is important for me. Parking is free. And they always have a bottle of water and washcloth for me at the beginning of my workouts. At the end, they always have a fruit basket to grab a healthy snack on the go. Additionally, I really enjoy the challenges that they offer - every quarter or so they have a competition/game to track your success outside of the gym. Some of the challenges include things like meal tracking or 30-minutes of cardio.
Plus, one more plug, the owners are fantastic. They are great community members, hard workers and I have truly enjoyed getting to know them better. This gym can't be beat...they have created and fostered a lovely work environment and it shows. As I said, I started out with a 6 month commitment, and I'm going into my second year with them...highly, highly recommend this place. Worth every cent.
