Poor customer care. Scam alert!! Fake screens that DO NOT WORK PROPERLY!!!!I went to this business when I passed through Seattle. My phone was fixed quickly and the gentleman was very nice. Unfortunately, after I left I noticed the screen is jittery, the picture quality seems poor, the front facing camera has a giant smudge on it and it looks like there's a filter on ever photo taken with it. Needless to say since iplay power is NOT AUTHORIZED through Apple to fix iPhones the store told me that the Apple care is voided and the phone would most likely have to be replaced. After reaching out to the business I was told I could have a refund if I sent the screen back or he could fix it if I sent the phone. Another fake screen is not what I need. Neither were acceptable solutions to me and there was a total lack of responsibility taken by the business owner. Being nice, polite and quick doesn't negate poor products and customer care.
iPlayPower's reply
Ah yes, you did threaten me with a negative review if I didn't refund you for your "defective screen". You claim to be out of state thus making it difficult to come back to my location in Seattle. You were also unable to overnight your iPhone for warranty service, which would have been repaired and returned to you with overnight service. You were also unable to have another shop replace the screen, save it, and return it to me for a refund. You were also unable to provide ANY documentation from your local apple store regarding your iPhone repair assessment. You wanted a refund without ANY proof of non-functionality. You did claim to be able to provide a taped recording of our conversation to use against me. Funny, either you we unable to do this as well, or there was nothing in our conversation you could use against me. I believe both conditions are true. Sorry, I do not accept extortion. Have a nice day.
