FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the time, care, and intention I put into each session, from planning to editing. The base rates listed include shooting time, editing, and digital delivery. I don’t typically offer discounts, but I do customize sessions depending on what you’re looking for. If you receive a quoted price from me, that will always be honored over any standard rates listed. Travel outside of Seattle may include an additional fee, depending on location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you reach out, I like to start with a quick conversation to understand what you’re envisioning, whether that’s a specific vibe, location, or just a general feeling you want the photos to have. From there, we’ll lock in details like date, location, and timing. I’ll guide you through the shoot in a way that feels natural and not overly posed, with a mix of direction and candid moments. After the session, I edit and deliver your photos through an online gallery where you can view, download, and share.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in communication from the University of Washington Tacoma, which has shaped how I approach storytelling and connecting with people through my work. Photography has also been a long-term practice for me. I’ve spent years developing my style through both personal work and community-based projects, including organizing and shooting with a local photography group. Most of my growth has come from hands-on experience, working with real people, real moments, and learning how to create images that feel honest and lasting.
