FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price most work as a fixed project fee, so you know the full cost before we start. After a free intro call, I'll send a quote based on the funder, the length of the application, and how much program information you already have. I ask for 50% upfront and the rest on delivery. I don't charge a percentage of grant awards, which is standard practice in ethical grant writing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free 20 to 30 minute call to talk about your program, the funder, and your deadline. Then I'll ask for what you already have, like past proposals, program data, and your budget. I send an outline for your approval, then a full draft with time for your feedback and a round of revisions before the deadline. I use only your real information, and if something a funder will expect is missing, I'll tell you early.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Southern Polytechnic State University, and 8+ years of hands-on nonprofit experience managing workforce and youth programs, including a WIOA-funded program where I handled enrollment, outcomes tracking, and funder reporting.
