Bliss on Tap review I reached out to Mike Thomas from Bliss on Tap painting to initially repaint the kitchen and bedroom in our newly purchased house. Starting with a tight budget and the added challenge of moving in with a pet, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, things took a turn for the better during the walk-through when I found myself with a larger budget. I seized the opportunity to expand the project, opting to paint all but one room and to have my kitchen cabinets transformed with a bold blue hue. And to add to the excitement, this was all happening just before Christmas! Mike proved to be incredibly accommodating. Despite the chaos of carpet installations, crawl space cleanings, and the holiday rush, he and his family managed to fit us in. His daughter and wife even lent a hand with the prep work, which was a pleasant surprise. While we did encounter some unexpected delays on both sides, the final outcome was well worth the wait. Our home now boasts beautifully painted walls, with serene green tones in the bedroom and living room, and even our cathedral ceilings received a fresh coat of paint. My office now radiates elegance with its stunning navy blue walls and crisp white ceiling. We also decided to revamp the bathroom, opting for black cabinets and doors against a fresh white backdrop. Mike not only took care of the painting but also expertly mounted the hardware on the cabinets. However, the pièce de résistance undoubtedly lies in my newly blue-painted cabinets. I had always dreamt of them, and Mike's choice of a highly reflective blue paint surpassed my expectations. In the end, our house underwent a remarkable transformation thanks to Mike's expertise with the brush. We couldn't be happier with the results and the exceptional workmanship he delivered. Oh and we liked his work so much I had him paint our other house before it was put on the market! It was so nice that people told our realtor they couldn’t believe someone lived there!

Mike and Marlene did a great job painting the exterior of our home. They took great care of the property and painted with great precision and quality. They were very responsive to texts and gave frequent updates on the progress. They are also very pleasant to work with. They may take a bit longer than others, but the quality of work and the value provided are outstanding. We are loving our new blue accent. 🙂

I had high eves with deteriorating paint that I couldn't manage by myself, and Bliss on Tap made it happen! Mike was knowledgeable and gave me advice on products to use for my fence as well, and while he was there, gave me a quote I couldn't refuse for painting my porch! I am very happy with the results of both projects, which were completed simultaneously, and I don't know why I didn't do it sooner! I appreciated the prompt communication and help with color choice as well. Thank you!

Mike and Marlene were friendly and very responsive to messages. They were able to come out the very next day. I sent pictures of the items I needed painted. I was quoted $650 for all, but in the interest of my budget, I asked about just getting my garage door and storm door painted. Mike agreed to do them both for $300. I supplied the paint. Upon arrival, he said the garage door should be $275 and that he did not get a good look at the storm door and he could not do them both for $300. He said he was just going to throw in the storm door as a freebie, but the door looked like it would be more involved. He mentioned how it was a long drive and asked if $300 was ok just to paint the garage. I agreed but should have been more assertive as he had agreed in writing on the Thumbtack app to complete both doors for $300. I attached pictures before his bid, and my address was listed. I felt swindled. I was thrilled with their work. My garage door looks fabulous! I would use them again, but confirm pricing again. That was the only disappointing aspect of the project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can match and out perform any quote from any service provider with current license, and open workers comp for employees. I provide them with a detailed quote and if needed color consulting and samples. I also personally stay in contact with the customer through the process of their project providing them with change orders/ color changes or add ons / updating them. I am on-site daily.
