Introduction
I am a piano teacher with a Degree in Music Education and Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. I teach intermediate to advanced piano students, and my specialty is Music Theory and Piano Performance. I believe that music can change your life, and I'd like to be a part of your piano journey. I teach Baroque, Classical, Contemporary, and modern music. I also play a custom-built Fandrich piano, a Sperhakke harpsichord, and the pipe organ/electronic organ. I have a Clavinova keyboard for teacher/student duets and teaching and recording.

What a fantastic experience at Maltby Piano Studio! If you're looking for piano lessons, look no further. Susan Arnold is an excellent teacher who truly caters to everyone from kids to adults.
I started taking lessons with Susan when I was 40 years old, and honestly, I was a bit apprehensive about learning something new at that age. But Susan's patience, encouraging approach, and clear instruction made all the difference. Within just a few months, I was amazed to find myself playing my favorite songs! It's incredibly rewarding.

Susan is an amazing teacher and wonderful human being. She has achieved an extremely high level of musicianship and knowledge through her own musical studies and performances that she tries to impart to her students. She also tailors her classes to the students ability and level and it's always enjoyable and at the right level of challenge. I highly recommend learning with Susan if you get a chance.
