- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee includes travel to you in your home or elsewhere if you need. I spend an hour with you and your dog learning your goals and experience and analyzing your dogs' behaviour and motivation. I pull all those factors together and show/teach you how to move toward your goals. After we have met I give you handouts (exercises) to keep you going.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up with horses and dogs. As an only child they were my best friends and constant companions. I feel blessed with the ability to understand how animals communicate their intention and understanding of behavior and tasks. It was later in life that I changed from a personal trainer for my own animals to translating for other people. I love to bridge the gap of understanding and communication between dogs and their people.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have had many, but my recent favorite is a couple whom I have met with a few times that told me I saved their rescue dog with them. they were ready to surrender him and give up. Now everybody is well adjusted and happy. ❤❤ I love what I do!
