Our experience with Franklin Photography was spectacular! Mike was so great from beginning to end. He was helpful in deciding when and where for us to do our photos, put up with me being upset since it rained the day of our outdoor wedding and still got us beautiful shots with the weather he had to work with. Near the end of our day with Mike, it was pouring. To capture what ended up being an amazing shot with the rain, Mike laid down in gravel, getting soaking wet, just so he could get that shot. My husband and I were so impressed with him already but that sealed the deal for us in knowing we were going to have wonderful wedding photos. I love every single one of the photos we have! I recommend Mike to anyone wanting great photos for any special occasion!

My husband and I had the best experience with Franklin Photography. Mike is truly the best photographer and he did the most amazing job on our engagement photos and, of course, our wedding photos. My husband and I were actually considering three people for our wedding, and we went and met Mike first. I knew within the first minutes of talking to him that I didn't need to consider anyone else. He knew what he was talking about, had great advice, and you could tell he was meant to do this job.I'm extremely shy when it comes to getting my picture taken, but Mike knew how to make me comfortable and how to get me to laugh and have fun with the process.. My husband and I were very set on seeing each other before the ceremony, but we didn't want anyone (family, friends) around to share that moment. Mike made sure of that. He found the perfect spot and captured a moment that is extremely dear to my heart..Everyone loved him and I have received so many compliments on how awesome he was the day of our wedding. He had great advice on other services, such as dj's, locations, food, ect. He had great input on how the day of the wedding should go for what we were wanting.I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Franklin Photography for any event, but especially weddings!We will definitely be using him for future events and milestones!

Mike Franklin is pure genius with the camera! It's one thing to take a good picture, but an entirely different thing to capture the moment. Mike has done this consistently like clock-work in the many experiences I've had with Franklin Photography. Beyond delivering an amazing finished product, Franklin Photography makes it fun. I have 4 children (3-12) who have a hard time sitting still while sleeping, but are somehow glued to Mike and his magnetic personality. I've also worked with Franklin photography in the volunteering and nonprofit world, of which I will assert firmly, Mike and his family are a group of caring, loving and selfless individuals that give and help many families in our community. What a great experience! We selected Franklin Photography by Gooogle roulette, and I couldn't be more pleased at how everything turned out. Mike is clearly a skilled photographer and was very patient with us and our children--taking the time to make sure our poses looked authentic and the backgrounds were beautiful (we did pictures outside). Selecting the photos to choose was the hardest part. We went to the studio (which I initially thought would be a drag but turned out to be a great experience) where Mike put up our photos side-by-side on a big screen, so it was easy to compare the images--and I didn't feel any pressure to buy anything...except from myself because they were all so good! Be sure to check prices before you book a session (they were a little higher than I was expecting but SO worth the price). Also be prepared to wait a while so the images can be properly edited--it's an important step, even though it's hard to be patient. I highly recommend Franklin Photography.

Mike was our awesome wedding photographer! He took the time to get to know my husband and I as individuals and as a couple and asked a lot of questions to get the best understanding of what kinds of photos we wanted on our day. He also provided a lot of great suggestions for the best ways to take photos at our venue since he was very familiar with the layout, which was super helpful since we had only been to our venue once (we live on the East Coast but we are from northn Idaho so we wanted to get married back home where family and friends were). The day of was a lot of fun, too! My husband is into photography, so they got to "geek out" on gear, and he made it super fun for my bridesmaids and I (even though most of us don't like our pictures taken). Our photos turned out so beautiful (and we got so many, which was a plus), and he really captured the best moments of our day, and even got in moments we forgot about while going through the motions that we love looking that. I think that is super important for a wedding photographer to capture since the day is a happy blur. If you are looking for a fun wedding photographer who will gift you with beautiful photos of your special event, Mike is your guy!
