FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When bidding on a mural or Tile & Stone job, all of my clients see my portfolio-so they know what to expect in experience and professionalism. Most common question I get is how much do you charge (square footage, hourly rate or total job?) Each job is so different, especially with the amount of detail in the artwork/subject matter or cutting/prep of a design in Tile or Stone. So each job is unique in pricing based on said difficulties. I try to average between $120, $150 or $200 a day, depending on the task at hand, that breaks down to a competitive hourly rate of $15, $20 or $25 dollars an hour! Its fair-its competitive and its honest, especially since the type of creations I execute cannot be picked up at Wal-mart, Lowes or Home Depot. If you are investing in a Home or Business, you want whats right for your budget- I always give my clients choices from cheep & cheerful to over the top and all the options in between! Sadly, not many business offer that option today!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Murals:Children story book rooms, Movie theater rooms and Sports fans art Tile & Stone: Mosaic shower floors, Fireplaces,Back-splashes and Foyer Designs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for a portfolio. Ask for references. Are they Licensed Bonded and Insured? See the person you are investing in talents and experience. I have seen so many frauds. No one can dispute my photos as I take pride in documenting tasks from beginning to end.I have had people steal my work and claim it their own!
