Introduction: *My account here is no longer active* Hello! My name is Mikayla, owner of Jmikayla Photography. I specialize in weddings, engagements/couples and elopements (but I do a bit of everything!) A little about my work— My work is authentic; Im not a fan of staged or posed photos, I prefer to capture people in their natural environment, this gives my images a more candid and laid back style. Clients that book with me often describe my photo sessions as fun, and energetic, I like to keep my clients moving and laughing for a majority of the session, which allows for natural and candid photos! I love interacting with people and getting to photograph them! Its always fun to try and capture someones personality in a photo, its what makes every shoot different.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer mini sessions for $100 (30 min, 10-15 images) and full sessions for $250 (1 hour, 30-60 images, 1 outfit change, 1 free print). Weddings range from $2,200-$3,200
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as an assistant to a professional photographer in western Washington; more recently I have worked as a photographer for Gonzaga University, and for the marketing department of a children's summer camp
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started with my mom, who was a photography instructor at Rocky Mountain School of Photography!
