A true master at his craft, Dr. Mike was the best officiant we could have asked for. We were blown away by the words he gave us to choose from and his execution was beautiful, compassionate and present. If you read this, you've found your officiant. My husband and I can not say enough amazing things about Dr. Mike!! From start to finish he was prompt to respond to messages. But it didn't stop there, he was willing to drive two hours to a different state to marry us! When we had our video call you could just tell he knew what he was doing. He is so kind, and attentive to make sure he got every detail that we wanted and had amazing suggestions as well! Dr. Mike definitely knows how to entertain a crowd and better yet he knows how to read the crowd! Our families haven't stopped raving about our ceremony and we owe it all to Cherished Memory Weddings! If you are looking for an officiant, you would be a fool to go with anyone else.

Dr. Mike really came through for us with short notice and some bumps in the road. We ended up having our marriage license filed just in time but Mike was ready with a few backup options to help us keep our quickly approaching ceremony date without fudging the paperwork. I should have asked him to come to rehearsal, but he did a fantastic job even without rehearsing. Stuck to our ceremony requests and rolled with a couple hiccups made by a very overwhelmed bride (me). Thank you so much Dr. Mike!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You've got a budget; we respect that.
Prices at Cherished Memory Weddings are fair and competitive because we agree with you: quality counts & costs matter.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your time is precious. You have a thousand details to work out. And we want to be as accepting and receptive to your wedding ideas as we can be.
We believe every couple is unique, and we work hard not to have any preconceptions about the service or vows. Let's start with 30 minutes as an intro and establish the broad strokes of what you have in mind. We'll go from there until you feel that the ceremony is "Just Right!"
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in a home that was part Catholic, part Presbyterian, and part Buddhist. I was ordained for the first time in 2005.
I've studied and read widely in comparative religions and philosophy. I am a non-denominational, fully trained & ordained officiant.
