I began lessons with Stephanie as a 50+ year old beginner in 2005 on her skilled lesson horses. When I decided to buy my own animal in 2007, Stephanie helped me define what I was looking for and guided me through the process. As an instructor she is patient and specific. She takes time to anwer questions and summarizes each lesson. When you are in a lesson, you have her full attention. Her knowledge of the sport is amazing! She puts her horses and students as her first priority and I know my horse is being well cared for at all times at Meadowgate. I enjoy cooling out my horse after lessons with a trail ride through the woods. My horse loves his daily turnout and all the amenities available here and I am so happy to be at Meadowgate with Stephanie as my trainer!

Meadowgate is an idyllic setting for both horses and riders. I started riding with Stephanie 5 years ago as an adult beginner. I was so captivated by the sport of dressage that I began looking for my own horse. Stephanie led me through the process and I am continuing my dressage journey with my own partner, Indie. He enjoys his huge stall and daily turnout and I enjoy friendships formed through riding at Meadowgate.

I have ridden with Stephanie since the mid 1970's. We were all alot younger then. After moving back to the area, i have watched Stephanie ride and teach. She is an excellent, thoughtful instructor. I would recommend anyone to trust their horse at Meadowgate. Very high standard of care for the horses. The emphasis at Meadowgate is learning, rather than showing. No tricks or gimmicks or short cuts I have seen many trainers/ instructors over the years. You will not find a better one than Stephanie.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private 45 minute lesson $60 on own horse, $85 on lesson horse. Inquire regarding semi private lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We go through the proper procedures for the bringing in of the horse, grooming, tacking up, leading to the arena, mounting, starting off at a walk on a long rein, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over the years I have continued to clinic with top teachers and trainers since I left my working student position with Dietrich von Hopffgarten in the mid 70's. You can refer to my website for the rest of the details.
