Introduction: Ready to Ride Training and Instruction offers horse training, lessons, summer camps, sales, and birthday parties. Training ranges from just starting under saddle to the show ring and everything in-between. Ground manners and desensitization to new environments are emphasized to make each horse well rounded and safe. In addition to time under saddle, horses learn to bathe, clip, tie, and haul. Lessons are offered in both English and Western disciplines for beginners to advanced riders ages 5 and up. Clients may bring their own horse or may be paired with a lesson horse that best suits their riding abilities and riding goals. Lessons include the following: * grooming * tacking * bathing * anatomy * riding and much more Above all, safety and team work are emphasized between the equine and rider. Summer camps are offered June through August for ages 5 to 15. Campers learn the basics pertaining to horse care and fundamental riding skills. Skills are practiced in an assortment of ways, ranging from relays to mock shows. This is a great way to start learning about horses or build on what is already known! The camps are five consecutive days for five hours. Ready to Ride prides itself on the ability to work with all types of horses and riders. We work hard to create individualized lesson plans for each client and meet the needs of both horse and rider. As a result, most new clients come from referrals. We welcome the opportunity to work with you and/or your horse!

I have taken lessons for years and had multiple horses in training and started with Amanda at Ready to Ride. She is very professional and works beyond what is expected to help you and your horse excel. I would highly recommend her and her staff. Everyone handles the horses with care, and makes riding fun.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a horse training, find someone who shares the same philosophy about horses and is willing to work with you on your goals. Look for someone who has customer service in mind and has the time to spend with your animal. Instructors should want to continue their own education to better teach their customers and improve their training abilities.
