I am riding at the FRF since 2008 and had an opportunity to stable 2 horses and took lesson from several trainers. Currently my trainer is Suzanne Habereck. I desribe my experience as outstanding: FRF has a state of the art stables and excellent 24 hrs care for horses. The indoor show rind is amazing and gives riders opportunity to practice in any weather. The owners of the barn Kurt and Teri Runens are dedicated to their life long passion-love of care for horses and the art of equitation. I can't say enough about Suzanne Habereck - she is a World Class Equitation Trainer and Horse Trainer and have an exceptional gift of connecting with Her students and horses. I had a privilege and honor not only learn from her but also observe her taking many of new, FRF riders to become champions in all of the Regional and National events. If you are dreaming to become a champion or simply dreaming of learning to make a connection with a beautiful animal and learn to ride - FRF and Suzanne are here to make your experience outstanding! I've been riding with Rita for about fifteen years, and I love her! She has so much knowledge, I learn something new every lesson. She's a great instructor and she's amazing with the horses. I would recommend her to anyone looking to ride, from beginner to advanced. I was introduced to horseback riding with Western, but when I switched to dressage, we went to Rita and she's been my instructor ever since. Wouldn't want anyone else!

Kristi is a superb equestrian coach and trainer. Before being taught by Kristi I had been riding for several years and had been on a plateau for too long. I am an older adult and had been riding in lessons 2-3 times a week. The progress I made with Kristi was incredible (and immediate) even riding the same horse. Kristi sees the details and can tell/show her student how to fix the problems. In private or group settings, Kristi always brings a high level of energy to each lesson. Kristi is thoughtful, creative and focused on keeping it safe - for the horse and rider. In a group lesson environment, Kristi manages to make the lesson very effective and manageable even with students at different levels. My young adult daughter is also coached by Kristi. Her confidence as well as mine has improved significantly. I highly recommend Kristi Gates whether you want to excel in the competitive show ring or for pure pleasure.

I've taken riding lessons from Carol on and off for the past five years as I've had time and money and will definitely take more lessons in the future. Her horses are excellent, safe but not at all bored or barn sour. Her instructional method meets you where you are in terms of skills and interest; she challenges you to learn more each lesson while coming back to familiar skills to increase your confidence. Her barn is about enjoying horses and learning to ride, and not about competitive drama. Lessons with Carol are one-on-one (no group lessons, which are mostly a waste of time) and she teaches you how to groom, tack up, and interact with the horses safely on the ground before you start to ride. You definitely get the entire hour, unlike some places that call a 45-minute lesson "an hour". If you want to move up in dressage -- if you are not a total beginner -- Carol will help you do that as well, taking youth and adult amateurs to schooling shows every summer. I highly recommend Carol and Dressage Dancers as a great place to learn to ride.

Patty has been amazing with my 7 year old daughter and has given me some lessons as well. The horses and stalls are well maintained and Patty matching the horse to the rider very well. I reserve no hesitation in recommending her to any one interested in riding, no matter your level.

My horses get the best care possible at Cadbury farm. This is the happiest my horses and I have been at a boarding stable in my 20+ years of owning and boarding horses in the PNW. I've boarded there for over a year now and the feed, turnout situation, and arena footing is consistently nothing short of perfect. Barn owner/trainer Nichole is a pleasure to work with and a first rate instructor and horse trainer. My young horse is coming along beautifully with her help and my older competition horse is thriving under her care and and instruction. I ride eventing and my horse and I went from a "getting our dressage test over with so we could jump" mentality, to actually enjoying our dressage journey together.

I have been riding at THE RIDING PLACE on and off for about 3 years, the place has a lot of area, good outside small trails to get a horse used to our NW weather, and rider used to small changes in the riding trails, with small streams and ponds, that have ducks and other birds , it has a nice round pen out side, This place has events for young and old that are interested in horses. The owners are on site almost everyday, They too have horses there, The box stalls are 12 x 12 and joined up with large runs for their outdoor time too They have a indoor arena that has a view room for comfort for those not riding or if you would like some snacks or lunch, a big tack room! 3 nice wash stall areas, matted and one can watch riders too! I have enjoyed joining up with other riders and doing team things for holidays and schooling events! Trainers come there and help us, and give seminars! It is some times a time for extra learning and lots of caring and sharing!

I started riding late in life and therefore had no prior experience. The instructors and trainers at Legacy have been patient and very encouraging along the way. The horses are cared for incredibly well and they are as much of a priority as the Legacy clients. Everyone is supportive of each other and enjoys each other.

Lynda has been patient and kind and understanding of my limitations. She allows me sufficient time to master skills before pushing me to move on to learn new things. I am very happy that I chose Hollywood Hill Equestrian Center to learn how to ride. Thank you Lynda!

Hello, I'm looking for a new facility for my daughter (12) and I to take lessons once a week, mostly Sunday's and the opportunity to trail ride, rent a horse, and eventually lease. Please tell me your fees for the two of us to have a lesson(we were paying $25/hr a piece), length of lesson, options to ride outside of lessons, and lease options. I don't have an excess of money but have found this activity to be so important to us. We have our own helmets but not boots. We've taken about six months of lessons that were spread out and it has been awhile. We ride western, but are willing to hear about English. Thank you, Kathryn Sent from my iPhone
