There were several small changes that were made during the project, some were optional, some HAD to be done. Araz was very responsive and accommodating regarding the changes and we were very pleased with the outcome.

I cannot speak more highly about our experience with Araz Homes. My husband and I relocated to Vancouver from Las Vegas about 9 months ago for work. We purchased a 1950’s fixer upper with the intention of fixing it ourselves but quickly realized that we had underestimated the amount of work and the complexity of the project. Having interviewed a few companies, we chose to go with Araz Homes and we’re so happy we did! Araz and his crew were able to seamlessly add a second floor to our home, reconfigured and remodeled the floor plan to a more open/contemporary space, added an additional bathroom on the main floor and created an outdoor living space that we love. The house is absolutely stunning and we’re so happy that we chose to work with Araz and his crew to make it happen.

We had Araz Homes come out and give us an estimate on doing a complete kitchen and bathroom remodel. His pricing was right in line with others, the quality of work was phenomenal, and the greatest team we've seen in the county!

We hired Araz homes to complete our kitchen remodel, install bathroom vanities and prepare the floor of our master bedroom for carpet. There were several delays. It was estimated to be a 9 day job however it took 7.5 weeks. The quality of the work was, at times, questionable. They seemed to lack the expertise we were promised. Araz would be unreachable for over a week and when we spoke to him, we had doubts about whether or not he was being forthright with us. The workers were easy to get along but Araz’s project management was poor.
At the end of the project, Araz tacked on several extra charges making our project over 20% more expensive than the original bid (there were not big, unexpected surprises in this project). At least one of these charges was to correct an error made by the team. Araz refused to negotiate these extra charges or even work with a professional mediator. Within less than 24 hours of being sent the extra invoice and our request for negotiation, he tried to intimidate us by being verbally aggressive, served us a letter from an attorney and threatened to put a lien on our house (“Our suit will be over and above what our final bill, I will fight until I win, regardless of its cost”). At times when unreachable he insinuated he was in court so we suspected he was litigious. We were fearful of having a contractor’s lien on our home so we ended up cutting a check. We feel as though we were extorted. I would avoid working with this contractor.
