Joel did an amazing job installing 2 toilets! One did have a small leak from the tower to the bowl and he came back the next day to fix it. He is very responsive and knowledgeable! I would hire him again for future work.

What a great experience! Replied quickly, showed up on time, repaired my disposal instead of replacing which saved me money. Needed a new kitchen faucet, and the pipes were corroded and needed replaced. Joel was so easy to work with and did a great job. I will hire him again for any plumbing/electrical handyman jobs I have in the future.

Great experience. Joel worked in a relatively tight space, fixed our dishwasher in ~90 minutes and had time to look at and fix a small leak on our washing machine, too.
The experience saved us about $500 total and we also found a new handyman in him through the process.
For anyone wondering, his communication is perfect. To me, this matters in a big way. I don’t like to guess or worse, misinterpret what someone is trying to tell me. Joel is capable of explaining the problem entirely and clearly. So keep that in mind when you’re looking at options.

I needed a hodgepodge of repairs that had built up over time in my bathroom - it had gotten overwhelming. Joel was super responsive, advised me via chat on what to buy from Lowe's, and arrived the evening of the same day, right on time. I think he was in my house for just over an hour and fixed SEVERAL things on my toilet as well as my bathroom door. I'll definitely hire him again.

Pricing is firm and depending on the project, you may be given a higher rate if the job you've requested does not match the work that needs to be done or requires additional steps or materials, but this will always be discussed before confirming the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to stay in contact via the Thumbtack platform directly. If we decided to do future work, we can do so directly via text and/or e-mail. Pictures are always helpful as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've had no certificated or formal training related to the work I do, but all tasks I offer I've had hands-on experience with.
