Finished product is the most important thing- this calls for a great deal of planning, coordination and execution. My favorite projects are multi surface projects: tile, carpet and wood on the same job? No problem.

Our floors look fantastic! Scott and his team were in and out in the timeframe they specified and did a beautiful job. They took out and replaced the entire unit floor + added baseboards. Scott took time to help with details and questions we had. Great to work with!

We only have exceptional things to say about Scott Douglas and his company, Bridgeview Floor Covering. From the minute we requested an estimate (which he provided over the weekend!), we knew we were dealing with an extremely professional outfit. Doug was one of the few flooring contractors that was willing to come out in person and do the careful measuring himself. The two other contractors we contacted either had another person do the measuring or didn’t even both to stop by! Scott’s quote was extremely fair and communication with us was excellent. During the course of our project, Scott kept us apprised of the work and was ahead of schedule. One thing we truly appreciated was he made an alternative suggestion to us about our grout choice for our bathroom floor tile. He was exceptionally polite about it and we were right to trust his experience and sharp eye. He dealt with the removal of our old flooring (wood, tile, and carpeting!) easily. During our project, he got terribly ill and was extremely apologetic about the work being off schedule. We were not concerned at all because we knew he was doing such a quality job and wanted to ensure he felt well enough to continue. Sure enough, as soon as he was ready to come back, he finished the job efficiently and perfectly! He and his daughter(s) were amazing and we appreciated the work so much. We have beautiful floors and wouldn’t hesitate to work with Scott and his team again. Highly recommend!

We were looking for help with installation of luxury vinyl plank flooring and checked out Thumbtack for the first time. We hit a home run! Scott replied within hours of my request on TT and we set up time for a free in-person quote for the project for 2 days later. He had availability in his schedule within a few weeks, and after vetting a few other contractors who didn't think it was important to see the project before bidding on it, we chose Scott. To us, the task was overwhelming - replacing 3 different floor coverings with the new vinyl flooring but Scott literally made everything about the process fast and easy. He gave us guidance for the purchase of the material, and it arrived at the warehouse a week before the project was to begin. Scott even picked up the material for us since we had no means to transport a pallet of boxes. He walked us through the exact steps that he was going to follow, from the demo through the installation. Then he finished all of it in 2 days. We were absolutely shocked that it was done early AND thrilled with the results. Scott is an absolute gem; knows his stuff and we highly recommend his work! We will be calling him in the future for more projects on the list.
