Sila Contracting saved my sanity! I was desperately looking for someone who could solve the puzzle that was our bathroom. Work had been done by another contractor, but we weren’t satisfied with the results. Our home is an old farmhouse, complete with all the issues that come with an older home. My husband is disabled and uses a wheelchair and we were attempting to make our bathroom more accessible for him… which included fixing the uneven, creaky floor and leaky toilet. The first contractor didn’t fix either issue. Vlad reached out to us through Thumbtack and asked to take a look at the problem. He listened to us. Heard what we were asking for and then talked to us about our options. He went above and beyond our expectations, replacing and leveling out the floor and fixing our leaky toilet, making it super secure for my husband. He also put up a back splash for us that looks fantastic and made sure we knew exactly what he was doing step by step. His work ethic and compassion has helped wash away the sour taste I had from our experience with the other contractor. Quality work. Wonderful human.
