Sila Contracting saved my sanity! I was desperately looking for someone who could solve the puzzle that was our bathroom. Work had been done by another contractor, but we weren’t satisfied with the results. Our home is an old farmhouse, complete with all the issues that come with an older home. My husband is disabled and uses a wheelchair and we were attempting to make our bathroom more accessible for him… which included fixing the uneven, creaky floor and leaky toilet. The first contractor didn’t fix either issue. Vlad reached out to us through Thumbtack and asked to take a look at the problem. He listened to us. Heard what we were asking for and then talked to us about our options. He went above and beyond our expectations, replacing and leveling out the floor and fixing our leaky toilet, making it super secure for my husband. He also put up a back splash for us that looks fantastic and made sure we knew exactly what he was doing step by step. His work ethic and compassion has helped wash away the sour taste I had from our experience with the other contractor. Quality work. Wonderful human.

I had a very small job that required cutting some tile from kitchen backsplash to accommodate install of a new microwave. Vlad was on time, friendly and went the extra mile to complete my request. If I have a future project that requires his skill set I would hire him again.

Vlad did great work in very short notice. He accommodated our need for a quick turnaround and delivered on everything he promised. He installed vinyl flooring in our upstairs and on our tricky staircase. I would highly recommend him for home improvement needs.

Vlad installed LVP flooring & new baseboards throughout our house. He was professional and responsive throughout the entire project. He did great work and his pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely hire Vlad again if we ever need his services in the future. He was great to work with. I highly recommend Sila Contracting.

We hired Sila Contracting to install luxury vinyl plank flooring in our entire house. From start to finish, Vlad was very responsive, kept us informed, and was easy to work with. He did a great job on the flooring. We're very happy with the end result, and had a good experience working with him. Definitely recommend.
