Seam Divas Sewing Lounge

Introduction: You can sew. Here is where you start. The first class for teens and adults who have never sewn or need a basics refresher. We will cover sewing machine basics--majors parts, threading, bobbin use, simple maintenance and operation. You will learn about seam allowance, to stitch straight, back tack, turn corners, pressing and to trouble shoot threading issues. Leave with a completed project: a quilted, ziptop pouch. All supplies for this class are provided by the lounge. Use one of our machines or bring your own if you want to learn it, specifically. Serves as the prerequisite for Adult Beginning Sewing I. Class is 3 hours/ $35.
