It’s always hard hiring someone when you’ve never actually seen their work in person. I went through all the companies on thumbtack and after reading reviews for Alex decided to give him a try. BEST decision!! Alex was professional, efficient and thorough. I work from home and Alex worked so quietly that at some points I wasn’t sure he was still here. I greatly appreciated that. The job was done on time, in budget and with so much care. Our tile backsplash is stunning and precise. We could not be more thrilled. I’m already plotting out our bathroom remodel and will 100% be using Alex again !

I cannot thank Alex enough for his excellent work transforming our laundry room and bathrooms.

First of all, he worked with our tight schedule and unexpected room issues. He finished tiling right on time, and the next day cabinetry company delivered and installed new vanities as scheduled.

Second, his tiling work is beautiful. He is a true artist with architecture training. He has good taste in art but also focuses on mathematical precision. I got many valuable suggestions on tile selections from him. The shower wall he tiled goes all the way to the ceiling without showing any ugly gaps or uneven small tile pieces. Even the shower door installer said, "whoever did the tiling did a very good job."

Third, Alex is the person you can trust. He focuses on safety and responsibilities. He insisted we remove the old mirrors before he started working. It turned out that he was right. The mirror remover found out the mirrors had too little glue on the back and were primarily supported by the backsplash. We really appreciate this suggestion. Also, we had no problem giving our garage door opener to him for a month.

Fourth, value. I think Alex should charge me more. His work is so beautiful, and he worked so hard.

I took some pictures, but the photos did not capture the beauty of the tilework at all.

We are so thankful we hired Alex and very happy with the work he did in our kitchen. His attention to detail is very apparent. He helped us pick out tile that would complement our kitchen and guided us in picking the best grout color. Each night he cleaned up the work space so we could utilize the kitchen, which is important with 2 toddlers running around. Alex completed the project in 3 days, which is what he projected. You will not regret hiring Alex for tiling. He is top-notch!
