When searching for a qualified interior designer, look for not only experience but education. Yes, some people just have a "knack" for interior design, but you want to make sure you choose someone who is well-rounded and knowledgeable about how to make your space function, as well as safety and regulation issues. I have a combined experience of eight years, including a four year degree from an accredited college.
