FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most often, I do special event makeup. Date nights, parties, proms, birthdays, special requests, etc. I even have practice doing stage makeup for musicals and plays!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Communication, communication, communication. Don't be afraid to ask a million questions or to request pictures. It's your face, after all! Send pictures of your desired look to your potential makeup artist and ask if it is something they can do. Trust us, we don't think you are being picky. Working off of a picture actually helps us and gives us a clearer idea of what look you're going for!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I think that makeup artists get stereotyped a little bit. We aren't "dumb" or superficial. We don't do this so that other people think we're beautiful, we do this because it makes ourselves and our clients feel good. Makeup application is an art, and it takes real skill. I absolutely love what I do.
