We chose Jolene to DJ our wedding based on the reviews online. We got married at The Waters in Minocqua, WI. From start to finish she was AMAZING!! She took our dull, boring crowd and made them interact with each other and have a great time. She was organized and learned everyone's name in our wedding party so she could introduce them properly when necessary. She played awesome music which got the guests dancing and continued until after midnight. She brought props which were fun and entertaining (our favorite was the mullet wig!) My husband and I both agree that anyone who meets Jolene will instantly understand why we cannot say enough good things about her. She is high energy and very helpful when planning what to do for the reception. She suggested that we do the shoe game which ended up being a hit! At the last minute we needed her to do the music for the ceremony as well, and she coordinated with the deacon and the hotel staff to make everything happen smoothly. We honestly believe that anyone who doesn't consider Jolene for their event is doing a disservice to themselves. She is AMAZING!!!

I didn't know anything about finding a DJ for a wedding, so I went about it the od fashioned way. I talked my coworkers. Someone told me about Jolene. I called her and already on the phone I could tell she would be perfect. My son is in the military and he wanted a wedding with everything and JoLene was able to provide. She was upbeat, friendly and full of life. Jolene wanted everyone at the wedding to have a good time and they did. Jolene provided continous entertaiment from the reception until well after midnight. Jolene of Party Starters recently was the DJ at our children's wedding. She was in contact with the bride and groom ahead of time to discuss music to play and avoid and gave them options for fun activities. She arrived in plenty of time to get everything set up. Her personality is fun and outgoing. She interacted well with the guests and got people on the dance floor with great music. She had some fun props that really added to the music and dancing. People were still dancing at midnite including us. So many of the guests commented on what a great time they had and what a great job our DJ did.
