Introduction: As an experienced publishing professional, with 30 years of writing, editing, copy editing, photography and marketing/advertising work under my belt, I glory in the power of the written and spoken word. Some of the most satisfying aspects of my career have been making technical information on nearly any subject understandable and using the powers of persuasion to impel an action, whether boosting attendance at an event, selling a product or service or informing the public about crucial issues. I use an active voice, good word choice, impeccable grammar and spelling and just a touch of humor to accomplish these goals.
