I'm Morgan Hansen, a passionate Piano Teacher! I have taught students of all ages for eight years. My mission is to help students grow to be thoughtful, creative, and excellent musicians.
I received a B. A. in Music at UW Oshkosh, and studied Piano Pedagogy for three semesters of graduate courses at Butler University.
Overall, I aim to cultivate confident musicians through creative, fun, and effective ways. Musical concepts are explored through educational games and supplemental music classes.
I offer student-driven lessons that meet the individual's goals, strengths, and interests. These lessons provide a comprehensive education which include a wide variety of repertoire and genres. Students can explore popular, jazz, rock, contemporary etc. Other elements include practice skills, technique, music theory, sight playing, improvisation, movement, and composition.
Students can also perform in quarterly recitals. I believe students who take part in recitals can truly feel a sense of accomplishment and can enjoy sharing music with others.
I teach online lessons via Tonara, Skype and Zoom. In addition, I actively brainstorm new ways to teach, and make use of other professional teaching resources.
Overall, I aim to provide full support and progress for each student.
