Introduction: I personally select the breedings of my Llewellin Setters to make sure I get the most birdy dog with natural abilities, high-prey drive, and that loves to hunt for the gun! These dogs are easy to train due to their intelligence and willingness to please! I sell their pups, and I also train them to be sold as started and finished gun dogs. These Setters are world-class hunting dogs and awesome family pets! I train the pointing breeds on all upland game birds to point, steady to wing, and shot and retrieve. I also hold classes for obedience training. I also like to give the dog owner hints and ideas to help prep their pup a little, before coming here for formal training which helps the dog greatly. I don't train for forced retrieve; it's all natural. Using a natural retrieve method, I like to have the owner do some play retrieve in their hallway when the pup is young. The dog needs to know his or her name, and be here before formal training.
