Introduction: Welcome!
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dan Neuser and I am a Photographer from the Appleton, WI area. I’ve been working as a photographer for over 10 years. Additionally I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Commercial Photography from The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California.
I have ample experience in image retouching, manipulation and color correction. Furthermore I am very well versed in all aspects of studio and location lighting and procedures. I prefer to shoot raw images in full manual. My camera of choice is a Sony a7R II in conjunction with a Zeiss 18mm f/2.8, a Zeiss 55mm F1.8 and a Samyang 135mm f/2.0 for portrait work.
With my background and my bright outlook, I am positive that I would make a very successful addition to your next event. I am extremely dependable, energetic, outgoing and adaptable. I’m a real people person and I have a knack for making people feel comfortable and relaxed. Most importantly, I know everything about photography, lighting, composition and image processing. WORK EXPERIENCE:
Freelance Image Retoucher
KOHL’S - Milwaukee, WI
November 2019 to Current
I work primarily with digital photography and use Photoshop to enhance images by correcting resolution and composition, cropping images and adjusting tone, color, saturation and brightness. My job also consists of adding or removing objects from and or flaws from an image.
Lead Photographer
FLEET FARM - Appleton, WI
April 2018 to October 2019
I worked as a commercial photographer, photographing a variety of subjects, including models, products, events and lifestyle narratives. Additionally I was responsible for project management, planning shoots, hiring models, acquiring props and supplies, scouting locations, meeting deadlines, photo manipulation and retouching images.

I spent a solid year working as a freelance photographer and designer, picking up work wherever I could. My work ranged from portrait, product, lifestyle photography to logo and layout design. I did a little of everything for a wide verity of clients in various industries.

February 2016 to April 2017
I was hired to take the idea of Re Stitch.com and turn it into a reality. During my time I developed a photography production process which increased product photography production from just 16 items a day to over 800. Additionally I trained 14 employees to be photographers and editors, purchased all equipment and supplies, and created a workflow strategy.

July 2015 to January 2016
The bulk of the work I did was graphic design and large volume printing production. I designed marketing materials for existing local business; as well as logos, stationary and other branding materials for new business. I was also responsible for advertising photography services, photo editing, restoration and all customer service and daily business operations.

June 2012 to May 2015
I was responsible for promoting the business and the artists it supported. This consisted of creating layouts for magazine ads, web and social media advertisements, creating marketing & promotional materials and the production of promotional videos and photography. Additionally I was responsible for providing creative photography services such as photo editing, retouching & image restoration.
