FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a phone conversation first to begin the process. I will get to know what you are looking for, what your ideas are and your timeline for your needs. I will email you my contract terms initially and ask that you read through them and agree to the relationship we will create working on your project. Then I will typically ask you to email me pictures, either real of your spaces and/or of inspiration for where you'd like to go with your spaces, and put together a plan for bringing your project to fruition. Then we'll meet in person, go over ideas, hash over how we can work together (how much part you want to play) in bringing your new spaces to fruition. From, there, there is much flexibility needed on my part and yours as to how the rest of the project flows; I work with you, you work with me, we work with contractors and we all dance with each other to complete your new space(s)!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Interior Design from UW-Madison ('02) and have several small projects related to design's many facets.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I discovered I have a natural eye for design. I get really excited about good looking floors. And I jump at any opportunity to do a color consult, the more rooms to make flow the better!!
