Hi everyone, my name is Brody, also known as Crokomoko. I’ve spent the last three years teaching tongue drum, and in that time I’ve learned that every player carries their own rhythm and their own story. No two people strike the drum the same way, and that’s what makes this instrument so special. What I love most is helping people craft their sound, guiding them through those small, meaningful moments where technique meets intuition and the instrument finally begins to speak in their own voice. Teaching has shown me that the tongue drum isn’t just about learning notes. It’s about slowing down, listening inward, and letting your hands follow what feels natural. It’s about discovering a personal sound that feels grounded, peaceful, and alive. Watching someone reach that point is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. In this video, I want to share some of what I’ve learned on that journey. Whether you’re completely new or you’ve been playing for a while, my hope is that this helps you feel more connected to your instrument and to the sound you’re creating. Think of this as a space to breathe, explore, and grow your musical voice. Let’s begin.See more
