- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer two types of sessions, those for headshots (actors, business, modeling), and traditional sessions for families and grads. Headshots sessions are per image and typically $100 for the first, and $50 for each additional image. All of which are professionally retouched. The traditional sessions, there is a session charge (typically $75), and then you purchase a package of photos, which start at $399. Traditional sessions are one hour in the studio, and one hour outside on location and include as many wardrobe changes as the client would like.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, a new client will come to the studio, meet with us to discuss what they would like as well as see some of the work we can create. From there, we set a time and date to shoot and it goes from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I teach photography nationally and do a lot of speaking at PPA (Professional Photographers Association). Most of the photographers in the area that belong to the PPA have attended my workshops as part of their continuing education mandate. I am also a contributing editor to Shutter Magazine, which you can buy at most booksellers. Many of my client's images can end up here if you would like to be published (this is optional of course).
