We understand that accounting and taxes are not everybody’s forte. Lucky for you it happens to be our specialty! We work with small businesses and individuals to help them navigate the complex and sometimes daunting world of accounting and taxes. We take a collaborative approach with clients, helping them every step of the way. Taxes and money are largely connected to significant life events and I strive to make you feel as comfortable with me and the process as possible. We use the latest technologies to make the information collection process as easy and efficient as possible which also enables us the ability to work with anybody, anywhere at anytime. I love meeting new people,learning about their businesses, families and forming relationships with clients. More often than not we find that our new clients come from an accountant that is inherited. Not only is Shelby passionate about accounting, she also genuinely cares about small businesses, entrepreneurs and their ideas and projects. As a new small business, I wanted to get my ducks in a row, but wasn't always sure what questions I needed to ask because I didn't know what I needed to know. Pricing is based on time to complete and the type of work to be completed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on the client and work to be completed. Typically, it starts with a meeting or phone conference to get to know the client. Client setup is easy and painless and all I need is an email address to get the process started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a CPA and have degrees in Accounting, Finance & Real Estate from the University of WI - Milwaukee. Have 10 years of experience in the accounting industry most of which stems from work in public accounting.
