- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I dedided to go into the wellness and fitness field when I saw some of my relatives suffering from poor choices. Some died young, some just lived miserably. I thought, "I want to break that cycle."
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Meet one-on-one or in small groups to motivate people to make changes based on their current situation and the situation they want to create for themselves. Goal-setting, health assessments, cognitive behavioral training, body appreciation and awareness through yoga, strengthening the body, mind, and soul.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Helped a group of 15 people over age 70 to increase strength, flexibility, and anxiety. This group became very close and many had lost spouses and were lonely. We have all been there to pick each other up when life seemed lonely and difficult. Every participant is a regular attender, 3x per week, and love the results, laughter, joy and reason to keep going on to better things!
