FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make your moving arrangements as far ahead of your moving date as possible. Contact phone company, electric company, cable company, ect. Leave one box for items you require immediately upon your arrival at your new home (example: tools, toiletries, remote controls, phones, etc.) label accordingly. Extremely fragile items such as glass, mirrors and pictures should be professionally packed. Liquids should NOT be shipped as they can leak and cause damage to your shipment. Do not pack flammable or corrosive items such as propane tanks, gasoline, bleach or perfume. Any items that are taken apart put screws/bolts in a labeled Ziploc bag. Pack heavy items such as books in small boxes. Label the top and sides of your boxes by the room you would like them in. If you decide not to empty dresser drawers please remove all fragile and liquid items. Carry any valuables such as currency, jewelry and valuable documents with you. Complete a walkthrough of your home with your crew leader to ensure all items have been removed. Arrange to have all your major appliances disconnected and serviced before your moving date. If your move occurs during extreme weather conditions, allow your electronics to acclimatize before plugging them in at your new home.
